Meet Nicolas M. Nammour, M.D.


Nicolas M. Nammour, MD. earned his medical degree from the Lebanese University School of Medicine in Beirut.

He completed his internship in internal medicine at Staten Island University Hospital, New York, followed by a residency in neurology at New York University Medical Center.

He completed fellowship training in neurophysiology at Baylor College of Medicine and joined a private practice in Florida for two years where he sharpened his clinical skills before joining the department of neurology at Baylor College of Medicine as an assistant professor in 2006.

Dr. Nammour specializes in general neurology, including transient ischemic attacks (TIAs) and cerebral vascular disease, EMG and nerve conduction studies, and musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders and headaches among others. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has been practicing In Katy since 2009 and is affiliated with Methodist West Houston Hospital and Katy Memorial Herman hospital where he is a consultant and sees his inpatients.

In founding his practice, Dr Nicolas Nammour wanted his patients to have a different experience when it comes to receiving their medical care. Our philosophy is based on mutual respect, education and communication between the physician and the patient providing the best personalized care available to our patients with neurological disorders. This is why Dr. Nammour believes that medicine is not only a science but a personal practice that relies on the cooperation between the physician and the patient.

Dr. Nicolas M. Nammour is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has developed areas of special interest within neurology that includes but not limited to:

  • Back and neck pain
  • Multiple sclerosis and Memory loss
  • Parkinson's disease

Since our role is to provide specialized care in neurology, you will still need to see your family doctor for your other medical issues. We will manage the neurological aspect of your problem. Our office will provide regular detailed reports to your referring physician to insure the best care and communication. At the same time, we will coordinate your care with the other involved physicians in your progress and treatment.
